Labor Day weekend has always meant the official end of summer for me. Summer is my most favorite season and saying goodbye is never fun. The early morning air of summer is so fragrant it makes getting up early and going for a walk seem a bit magical.
However, I've found that when I come to terms with the fact that summer is ending and it’s already September, I can (even if reluctantly) begin to shift my focus towards the last third of the year. Then I start to plan out how I'm going to finish the year so I end satisfied with and very proud of my results.
Here Are Questions for you to Win Big in the Final Stretch:
- Am I on track to make my business targets for year-end?
- If I'm not on track am I prepared to deal with the outcome of not making it? What can I do about it now?
- Where can I add innovation to my business, now...this week?
- Given the progress I've made this year, what can I take on next year?
I recommend answering these questions with your clients, colleagues and/or team so they are all part of winning big at year’s end.
Equipped with your answers, you will now move ahead with more confidence in the final outcome.
If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, we’ll be talking about this at the Autumn Strategy Session For Year-End on October 4th in Larkspur (Marin). For more information click on YEAR-END STRATEGY tab on this webpage.
