I know you are busy getting things done, delivering your services and products, getting more clients and customers and keeping them all happy, while the end of the year is rapidly approaching.
In years past, my habit was to cruise through to the end of the year hoping it would turn out well and that I would make my business targets. Inevitably I would fall short and have to deal with the disappointment of not meeting my expectations. After that it was a tough piece of work to get back on track.
Finally, one autumn I discovered I had a second chance to win at my game. If I stopped and reset my game in the fall, I wouldn’t have to end the year with disappointment. If I took time to do some in-depth design work, then I would be launched and set to win my game for the year-end.
So I ask you
- Are you concerned that your business might NOT make the targets you've set for 2014?
- Would the impact of falling short this year be something you want to avoid?
- Would you like to use this year's successes to build stronger and more robust outcomes, as well as feeling challenged, motivated and inspired going into 2015?
I recommend taking some time to answer these questions for yourself.
If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, we’ll be talking about this at the Autumn Strategy Session For Year-End on October 4th in Larkspur (Marin). For more information click on the YEAR-END STRATEGY tab on this webpage.
